On April 10th, 2004 50 semi-finalists arrived at Beeson Aesthetic Surgery Center and gathered in the conference room to learn more about the whole process ( RIght: Danielle Laffey, of Indianapolis Woman Magazine ,thanking the semifinalists for participating)

Each candidate also went through an examination process, professional imaging, and attended presentations from the participating Dream Team members

After, the finalists were narrowed down to five people, (Jeanette being the fifth contestant). Runner Ups from left to right: Deborah Pierce, Penny Rasdall, Barbara Johnson, Pam Jankowski

Each finalist had to answer a series of questions asked by the four celebrity judges shown below: from left to right, Martha Weaver of WRTV 6, Teri Stacy of WIBC 1070, Helen Wells of The Helen Wells Agency, and Alpha Blackburn, president of Blackburn Architects, Inc.

Jeanette Burnette was chosen and thus began her dream makeover journey that would lead unto an unforgettable change in her life.
