Jeanette had the opportunity for a once in a lifetime experience that she had only dreamt of in the past. Even though she has always been a strong individual, this procedure reaffirmed it. It proved to be much more than just facial surgery...it gave Jeanette more confidence in herself, security in her social life, and made her realize just how lucky she was to be chosen for the makeover.

When asked about the procedures, she quotes that, " I would make sure that you are 100% positive that you want to go through with it because it’s heavy duty….it is not meant to solve all of your problems...the real transformation is inside of you, and that's what should matter the most."

Jeanette has returned to her life working at Damon's Grill, Keystone Senior, and being a full-time grandmother, daughter, and mother. "My daughter and I have bonded more than ever because she started a new part of her life with me by losing 59 pounds since my makeover... I cannot thank her enough for everything she had done."

She enjoyed a mother-daughter trip to Booth Bay Harbor, Maine, courtesy of Ambassadair Travel Club. "It was a perfect mother-daughter trip to enjoy with each other for a change. Everyone thought we were sisters there, they had no idea I was actually her mother...the country side was beautiful and the water was crystal clear, a very relaxing trip overall."

Jeanette's Surgery

Jeanette recently attended her 40th high school class reunion at North Central High School where she graduated in class of 1964. " I felt more confident about attending the reunion; it had been so long since I’d seen some of my classmates and it was great seeing old friends again."

The most important lesson that Jeanette has learned from the whole experience was how important friends and family were to have through this procedure. "Every one of my friends showed support just by coming to visit me and make me laugh...my daughter even made me a beautiful scrapbook that I will pass down from generation to generation."

Jeanette on Dr. Beeson and staff: "The nurses that Dr. Beeson sent home with me were a life saver. Dr. Beeson continues to take care of my face and is genuinely concerned about me. The whole staff was very supportive and informed me on everything that was going to happen. I was entirely dependent upon him to do what was best and he came through with the expertise and skill that I expected. There are not enough words to thank him and his caring staff for everything. I would recommend Dr. Beeson to anyone who is considering this sort of procedure."
