POSITION: Nurse Practitioner
JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
- See postoperative patients - assist doctor with postoperative care including suture removal, wound care, patient education and maintaining proper records of visits including photographs and electronic entries
- Do pre-op physical exam and preoperative care education on patients who are to undergo surgery
- Do postoperative follow-up calls on patients (follow-up calls made on patients to the first five days following surgery and entries recorded on post op call forms)
- Do chemical peels as part of facial rejuvenation program in conjunction with doctor
- Prepare dermal fillers for doctor to inject - do skin prep, education, complete forms, do local and regional infiltration blocks, etc.
- Do laser treatments as part of skin rejuvenation program (if state regulations change to permit)
- Do hair transplants with doctor
- Do preventive health - wellness program
- Be in charge of weekly staff meetings such as AAAHC quality assurance studies and weekly/monthly record checklist
- Cover call backup
- Do educational updates
- Learn dermatology and body contour, as well as facial plastic special areas
- Do skin analysis, reviews and participate in skin rejuvenation programs
- Do annual reviews in conjunction with doctor
- See post-op patients when physician is in surgery
